Collection of Customer Data

Their authorization for the use of Customer Data will only be for the contracted purpose, will only be for a limited time and access and use will only up to the reasonable extent that they need to process. They will also be required to protect Customer Data in keeping with our Privacy Policy.

Protection of Customer Data

We respect and take your privacy seriously and take every effort to secure and protect your Customer Data to ensure confidentiality, prevent loss, theft or unauthorized use. We protect information submitted through our website via a server with firewalls, encryption and security controls.

Only authorized personnel have access to the information and can process your data under strict confidentiality. Access is restricted to employees who need to know your information in order to process or provide the necessary service for you.

Access to your Personal Information is limited to you or your authorized representative. We will never sell your Personal Information to any entity for whatever purpose. We also will never share your information to third-party affiliates without your prior consent.

We keep your Personal Information in our business records for as long as necessary in order for us to fulfill the purpose for which it was gathered. When the time comes for disposing of customer information, we take reasonable measures to make sure it is done in a proper manner and is not accessible to the public.

Retention, Deletion and Access to Your Personal Data

Data privacy is important. It is protected by respective regulations in different countries. In the Philippines, Data Privacy rights is specified by the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Your Customer Data and rights are protected under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.

You have the right to the data we collected. With regard to your right to access, we can provide you your Customer Data which you have entrusted us, provided that such information is not deemed confidential or proprietary by Avigate, or that your request for Customer Data is reasonable and with lawful reason.

According to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, if you have substantial proof that your Personal Data is no longer necessary or used for the purpose for which it was collected, you may order the removal or destruction of the same Customer Data in our systems.

Submitting Consumer Requests and Our Response to Requests

You may submit a request for access and requests to delete Personal Data about you via email at compliance@avigate.io.

Alternatively, you may delete your account by going to: Settings – Delete Your Account. Once this is done, your account will be suspended for 30 days, after which your Personal Data will be erased.

Upon receipt of a request, we may ask you for additional information to verify your identity. This additional information will be used only to verify your identity and not for any other purpose.

Once we are able to verify your identity, we will respond to your request within thirty (30) business days of receipt. Should more time be required, we will inform you of the extension and reason in writing. Our correspondence with you will be through email.

We are limited to the 12-month period preceding the receipt of your request for any disclosure we will provide. We will also put into writing, any reason why we cannot comply with a certain request.

For requests to delete your personal data, no fee will be charged unless the requests are excessive, manifestly unfounded or repetitive. For cases where we might require a fee, we will email to you the reasons why and provide you with a breakdown of costs before completing the request.

You have the right to seek indemnity for damages sustained, if any, due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of your Customer Data.
